Tina Fey is an American actress/writer/producer, and was born on May 18, 1970 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Fey is of course best known for her years as a performer and head writer on Saturday Night Live from 1999-2006. In 2004, she wrote the screenplay and acted in the hit comedy Mean Girls, for which she was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay by the WGA. In 2006, she began writing, producing and starring in the NBC comedy 30 Rock. The show (along with The Office) would become the cornerstones of NBC's Thursday night comedy line-up. Tina herself has been nominated for several Emmys for her portrayal of stressed out writer Liz Lemon.
