Numerous other roles followed in hit shows like All In The Family and The Streets of San Francisco.

In 1973, he landed a role as a corrupt cop in the second "Dirty Harry" film, Magnum Force starring Clint Eastwood. After the series ended after four successful years, Soul went on to appear and star in mini-series like The Manions of America, made for tv films like Salem's Lot and television series like The Young Riders and Murder, She Wrote.

Soul has also achieved success as a singer, recording several albums and number one hits.

He continues to act on television, in films and on stage while remaining a political and social activist with interests in HIV education and world hunger.
