Robert Carlyle


Robert Carlyle is a Scottish actor, born as raised in Maryhill, Glasgow, Scotland. At the age of 21 he enrolled himself in acting classes after reading Arthur Miller's "The Crucible". His first role was in the 1990 television series 'Taggart'. He currently plays the role of Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin on the ABC fairy-tale drama 'Once Upon a Time'.
