Oh 'American Horror Story,' you never disappoint. There's roughly 24 hours left before 'Coven' unleashes yet another dose of horror upon our all-too-willing eye sockets, but that doesn't mean you can't get a little taste of the trouble to come beforehand.
I was lucky enough to catch this week's episode of "Head" earlier today and, boy oh boy, what a doozy! In fact, things get so crazy that you might just pull a Delphine and scream your head off (though I hope that, in your case, it would be strictly figuratively speaking). So if you're up for a few juicy teasers, then proceed ahead. If not, then let me direct you to yet another
great use of your time. (You're welcome!)
Everyone still with me? You folks are my kind of people! But enough of this chit-chat. Feast your eyes on all of the diabolical details below!
-There's a lot of Hank in this episode, which includes learning a big part of his backstory and understanding where his true loyalties lie.
-Someone finally admits responsibility for throwing acid on Cordelia's face.
-Speaking of Cordelia, as the promo suggested, she does, in fact, get her eyesight back, but it comes with a rather unfortunate price.
-Fans will see a VERY different side to Myrtle Snow, who develops a very "Hammurabi's Code of Laws" type way of looking at things.
-Patti LuPone gets to sing a little tune! Or rather, her character Joan Ramsey does, but still! It's with Patti LuPone's voice, so I'm not complaining. Now someone put on 'The Name Game,' quick!
-Ironically, now that she is just a head, Delphine finally develops a heart.
-Luke and Nan uncover a dark secret about Joan's past. (Hint: she's not just a terrible mother.)
-Two more beloved characters meet a very tragic end…but at the hand of two very different killers. And one death results in a very unlikely alliance.
Are you even more excited now for this week's episode? If so, then I consider this to be a job well done. And, as always, please feel free to share all of your thoughts and predictions in the comments below!
'American Horror Story: Coven' airs on Wednesdays at 10/9c on FX.
