TV
SOAPNet is available on cable television in the United States and was launched on January 20, 2000. The channel is part of the Disney group.

As well as rerunning many classic prime time and daytime soap operas from the 1970's and 1980's the channel reruns the episodes of the ABC daytime soaps in the evenings. During 2004 it acquired the rights to also show the same-day episodes of Days of Our Lives and added the CBS soap opera The Young And The Restless to it's line up in 2006.

The network also makes some of it's own shows including I Wanna Be a Soap Star and Soapography.
