Alfred Jodocus Kwak is a children's television show created by Herman van Veen about a duck who has lost his entire family. Growing up, he lives with Henk the Mole, a friend of the family. "Kwak" is a children's show, but it touches many adult themes like industrialisation, apartheid and power abuse. The show was created as a collaboration between Japanese and Dutch animation artists. It aired on the Dutch VARA from 1989 to 1991.
