Season 3: Three weeks ago, an invisible dome crashed down on Chester's Mill, cutting us off from the rest of the world. The dome has tested our limits... pitting us against one another. And forcing each of us to confront our own personal demons... rage... grief... fear... shame. But we've also found love under the dome. And we have battled to keep our town together. Now we may finally have found a way out. We hope it takes us home, but what if it takes us to an alternate reality?
Season 1: Chester's Mill is a place like any other. At least, it used to be. Until we were cut off from the rest of the world by a mysterious dome. Invisible, indestructible, inescapable. We don't know where it came from or why it's here, but now that we're all trapped under the dome together, none of our secrets are safe.
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a woman’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, and people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.
Dale Barbara, Iraq vet with a mysterious past, is trapped in Chester's Mill and finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper editor Julia Shumway, physician’s assistant Angie McAlister, her brother Joe. Against them stands Big Jim Rennie, a politician who will stop at nothing—even murder—to hold the reins of power, and his son, who is keeping a horrible secret in a dark pantry. But their main adversary is the Dome itself. Because time isn’t just short. It’s running out.

Teetering on the edge of good, but falling back in...Rating: 1 likes, 3 dislikes Under the dome, could be a good show IF they got rid of the clichéd characters and stopped killing off the interesting ones. Just like Exant, a craptacular new series, that's suffering from stupidity. Hollywood needs to bow down and kiss the feet of real writers if it's going to survive. This isn't sci fi.
