After Quincy is badly wounded shoving Cameron out of the way of a killer's bullet, Cameron resolves to train someone to replace him if necessary. Meanwhile, the team races against time to find the shooter, who turns out to have a connection with the Stitchers program... and Kirsten's mother.

1x10: Full Stop recap: Maggie calls Quincy to the lab and says that Leslie wants to see him. Leslie introduces himself for their first face-to-face meeting, and tells him not to investigate Ed's murder. He insists that they're handling the matter internally and they have to protect Kirsten, and Quincy wonders if she's in danger. 1x9: Future Tense recap: At Kirsten's house, Kirsten and Liam are making crepes and he kisses her briefly, and then holds her hair up to see what it looks like. As they sit down to eat, Cameron sends Kirsten a text and mentions Maggie. Kirsten assures Liam that she can handle Maggie, and he asks if she's thought about his proposal. Cameron leads her to the conference room and says that they're running out of time... and everyone yells "Surprise!" 1x7: The Root of All Evil recap: At home, Kirsten stares at the key she took from her mother's mausoleum. Camille wants to buy some boots and Kirsten advises her to ask for a raise. A man knocks at the door and Kirsten greets the man, Liam Granger. She invites him in and immediately says that she and Camille both have to go to work. 1x6: Finally recap: Cameron and Kirsten attend Marta's funeral, and afterward Cameron leaves flowers at the grave. As she watches, Kirsten remembers attending the funeral of Jacqueline Stinger in 2000. Ed gives her flowers to leave at the site, and Kirsten gave them back and walked away. In the present, Cameron asks Kirsten how she's doing. She says that she wishes Marta was still alive to ask her what she meant when she said Kirsten isn't safe and they're all being used.
