Dark Kat is making an alliance with the villain called Hard Drive who can turn himself into electricity. Together, they managed to lure the Swat Kats into a deathtrap, steal the Turbokat, and cause havoc in Megakat City in order to make the Swat Kats look bad. The Swat Kats must find a way to retrieve the Turbokat, defeat Dark Kat, and clear their names.

Episode Goofs
 
When Hard Drive collected the money in the Turbokat, there was only 5 or 6 bags of money, but when the Swat Kats retrieved it at the end, it was dozens of them.
 
The creeplings looked much smaller then usual, when they got the missile with Hard Drive in it from the prison.
 
 
Cultural References
 
The episode title is probably an allusion to the movie "Night of the Hunter".
