The Class of 2014 will be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Sunday, November 23, 2014, at the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland in Kansas City as part of a three-day celebration of college basketball. Tickets will go on sale beginning in September. The following players will be inducted into the Class of 2014 Hall of Fame:
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL, LSU
National player of the year in 1991 and 1992
Career record of 64-29 in three years at LSU
Averaged 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks a game for his career
Set LSU records for blocks in a game, season and career
ZELMO BEATY, Prairie View A&M;
Averaged 25 points and 20 rebounds during his four years at Prairie View A&M;
Led the Panthers to the NAIA national championship in 1962
Won the Chuck Taylor MVP award during the 1962 NAIA tournament
DARRELL GRIFFITH, Louisville
NCAA champion and Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 1980
Career record of 101-25 in four years at Louisville
Averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game for his career
National player of the year in 1980
GRANT HILL, Duke
Two-time NCAA champion in 1991 and 1992
Career record of 118-23 in four years at Duke
Averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds a game for his career
