Listing all characters in the group Main Characters (6)
| |
Brian Lalumaca, played by Dan Tetsell
Brian doesn't really like anyone in the lab, or even anywhere else for that matter, and considers them unprofessional amateurs but he is hopelessly in love with the Dean. The Dean however is completely unaware of his feelings, or even his name. |

Cara McIlvenny, played by Jo Enright
Cara has been a lab assistant for about twelve years and is going nowhere fast. Her scatter-brained antics would have meant most places would have fired her a long time ago but Alex keeps her around anyway and seems to treat her like a little sister or odd human shaped pet. |

Dean Mieke Miedema, played by Selina Cadell
The Dean is a woman with her own agenda, although she is easily confused and often confusing to others. Being Dutch, the confusion could be blamed on the obvious language barriers but it often seems that it is all part of her utimate goal. |

Doctor Alex Beenyman, played by Chris Addison
Dr. Beenyman thinks that he would be much better for his job if it wasn't for everyone else and in his constant efforts to solve problems and take away distractions for the team he always seems to get it all wrong. He's the closest thing in existence in the lab that even remotely resembles a normal human being. |

Minty Clapper, played by Helen Moon
Minty is definitely a woman with attitude, often spouting sarcasm as a standard form of communication with the rest of the staff. She has a huge collection of jumpers, which she considers the height of smartness and fashion. |

Professor John Mycroft, played by Geoffrey McGivern
Professor Mycroft is an experienced scientist and in his career also won a Nobel Prize. Unfortunately, in the 20 years since winning the Nobel Prize he hasn't done anything even resembling a day's work. In addition to his dormant genius he has also proven to be eccentric, lecherous and extremely intent on following his own rules and only his own rules. |
