Maybe I shouldn't care so much, but the Two and a Half Men nominations infuriate me. Every single one of them. I can name thirty funnier shows, and that list would include some so-called dramas. Speaking of which, I must watch some crappy dramas because I haven't even heard of some of the nominees. Will Supernatural ever get recognition? Why can't they just let me choose?

The following things make me happy: all the 30 Rock and Pushing Daisies love, Dexter and Michael C. Hall being nominated, NPH for HIMYM, Flight of the Conchords recognized for writing and directing (especially nice since they lost the Creative Arts Award), Michael Emerson for Lost, and 4/5 of the reality category.

Yeah, I'll probably watch a bit of it. I'm happy for any nomination that relates to Lost, Boston Legal, The Office, and Pushing Daisies, and the actors and directors for those.

And I share your disgust for the nominations for Two and a Half Men. I admit I watch the show sometimes because it's on syndication at 7 pm when there's nothing else on. But as I'm watching it, I realize it's crap. Certainly not worthy of an Emmy, nor is Charlie Sheen. I think he just plays himself.

Ugh, exactly! It's one of my friend's favorites, so I get stuck watching it when I'm with her. I have to admit that I do love the opening credits, though. And now the theme song is in my head.

If you watched better television, you'd appreciate the Emmys.

Speaking of Sunset Tan, LC needs to lay off the spray on tanner. She is like an oompa loompa!

I expected a recap from Kelly, but nope.

I considered it, but then I remembered my brother was coming over to use the computer. There would have been an unforgivable gap in my recap.

I think seeing Tina Fey win (multiple times) was the best part of the whole show. I loved the line about her parents raising her to have confidence that is disproportionate with her looks and abilities.

I also liked Josh Groban singing the theme songs. I thought that was well done.

I'm glad that Alec Baldwin won, though I would have been happy with Steve Carell or Lee Pace, too.

I was bummed that Zeljko Ivanek won over Michael Emerson. To be fair, though, I've never watched Damages. And ugh, Jeremy Piven AGAIN? NPH or Rainn Wilson should have won.

Hated the hosts. Please, never have multiple hosts again. Speaking of which, why was Howie Mandel even nominated? Deal or No Deal is a game show. He didn't fit in with the others.

I hated the multiple hosts too. I loathe Tom Bergeron and Howie Mandel, so that was two strikes before it even got going.

Yeah, but animated awards are part of the Creative Arts Emmys, so it wasn't shown on last night's broadcast.

I third the Tina Fey love. And the hosts hate.

Neil Patrick Harris and Michael Emerson need to be awarded Emmys as some point, but I'm not too upset about Zeljko Ivanek because I've liked him in a few roles now and Emerson still has time left on his role, anyway.

The Mad Men win was nice, predictable as it was.

Okay, I know The Amazing Race is awesome and everything (I don't watch, but I hear things), but does it seriously deserve to be the ONLY show to win its category in the SIX years that the category has been in existence? At some point, it needs to pull an Oprah and take itself out of the running to let someone else win.
