Overall, it's interesting. As for the character of Queen Mary I'm very disappointed. I've studied the time period and although, I don't consider myself an expert, I do know that history states that Queen Mary was a very proud woman, intelligent and quite capable of ruling her kingdom and making her own decisions. She was very emotional and made too many decision based on her heart and not her head, but she was very independent and well respected.

This series would have you believe that Queen Mary was a simply little girl, unable to decide what to have for breakfast, let alone how to deal with issues around her. They make her out to be a total airhead, who needs men to move her around the chest board. Totally untrue and totally disrepectful to women in general. Any female old enough to give birth is NOT a girl, she's a woman and deserves to be treated as such.
