I'd just like to start off this blog by saying I'm currently being held at gunpoint by cindy to write it.

With that out of the way, hello Ragers! It's been over 2 years since I posted on this blog. But I thought it was time that I bring back my old tradition: the yearly birthday blog.

That's right, I turn 22 today. Honestly, it's kind of hard for me to even fathom. I was 15 years old when I joined this site. FIFTEEN years old. Just a kid starting my Sophomore year of high school.

It's kind of funny actually, I joined TVTome when I was 14 and was so amazed by the concept that it ignited a passion for web development in me. Coming here and getting to join the staff, working side by side with Sebrioth and seeing all the amazing things he could do only furthered that passion, so I ended up majoring in Web Development in college. I just graduated this past May, and now I work fulltime doing web development for an awesome company.

It blows my mind thinking that just by chance, 8 years ago I joined a website because I was bored and wanted to talk about Family Guy and it ended up changing my life forever. Literally, the life I live, the girl I've been dating for the past 3 years, and the happiness I have is all a direct result of that decision.

So I'd like to genuinely thank everyone here. I'm well aware that very few people will read this blog, but for those who do, or those who stumble upon it a few years from now, thank you. You all, in one way or another, had an impact on my life. TVTome and TVRage were quite often a place where I could feel accepted when I often felt very unaccepted in my real life. There's a reason that I'm still here after all these years when many others have left, and it's because this place and the people here feel almost like a second family to me. A comfort zone. And as long as it's around, I will be too. I love you guys.

So yes, it's my birthday, and there's a lot to celebrate. I'm very grateful.
