We are down to the final 3! That sounds like a Ryan Seacrest line...

Anyway...today's title comes from my head. Well not really...but sort of. This morning I'm walking around my apartment getting ready for work and found myself talking out loud. Don't act like you never do it! Yep...for no apparent reason I'm quoting lines from David Lynch's television masterpiece "Twin Peaks".
Man I loved that show! Almost obsessively...no...it was obsessively. I bought the tie-in books ("The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer"), cassettes ("Diane - Twin Peaks Tapes of Agent Cooper"), trading cards...even bought a little mini-cassette recorder so I, like FBI Special Agent Dale B. Cooper , could carry it around everywhere recording my odd observations about things.
"Through the darkness of future past
The magician longs to see.
One chance out between two worlds
Fire walk with me."
Did you know that Moby's "Go" samples some of the music from the "Twin Peaks" theme? (sorry...embedding was disabled so you have to click the link) Or that FBI Special Agent Dale B. Cooper's name is an homage to legendary bank robber D.B. Cooper? Or that in Sheriff Harry S Truman's office there is a buck's head mounted on the wall and a plaque reading "the buck stopped here" referencing President Harry S. Truman and his motto, "the buck stops here"?
So now I need to dig out the books, hunt down the episodes, and see if it's still as cool as I remember it being.
BTW...Please, please, please...if you haven't had a chance to do so take my quiz -->click me<-- I'd like to use your response to question #20...and right now it's looking like it'll be a short blog
And remember...the owls are not what they seem |

It's been like, five years since I've even heard a Moby song. He had one song that I really liked, but I don't remember what it was or what album it was even on. Actually I think it was on Play. Hmm.
