• Directors to honour actor Glover. |
Actor Danny Glover is among the names to be honoured by the Directors Guild of America for their contribution to the film and television industry.
Glover, who starred in the Lethal Weapon films and ER, is recognised for his work in improving health care and education in the US and Africa.
The list also includes director Arthur Penn, Sopranos creator David Chase and New York mayor Michael Bloomberg.
