Kenny is being hailed the next Garth Brooks when he tours. His CD "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" has gone quadruple platinum, while "When the Sun Goes Down" has gone triple platinum. The little publicized "Be As You Are: Songs From An Old Blue Chair" also has gone platinum. In late 2005, Chesney released the album "The Road and the Radio" which has recently hit triple platinum. Finally in 2006, Kenny Chesney did something most country artists don't do, he released a live album. In September of 2006 he released "Kenny Chesney Live: Live Those Songs Again" which has already been certified gold. Later in that month Chesney was honored for selling over 25 million albums. In September of 2007, Chesney plans to release his next studio album, titled "Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates", with the first single "Never Wanted Nothing More" released in early June. "Never Wanted Nothing More" reached #1 on the charts and his second single, "Don't Blink" also has reached #1 on the charts. He most recently won Entertainer of the Year for the 2007 CMA Awards and performed "Don't Blink" during the award ceremony.
