Gregory Itzen has lived and performed in California for several years, from his acting career in the San Fransisco American Conservatory (where he was also trained), to the San Diego Old Globe, to the Matrix Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
Besides California, Itzen has also worked and performed in Seattle & New York. He's recieved numerous nominations and awards, including Tony and Desk Drama nominations for the Broadway show "The Kentucky Cycle," and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for his roles in "Waiting for Godot," "The Homecoming," and "The Birthday Party."
While he's been acting on television for many years, and in several roles, including Boston Legal, Star Trek, Friends, JAG, CSI, The O.C., and The Practice, Itzen has not been more ridiculed, praised, and down-right noticed than the inept President Charles Logan on the hit FOX drama, 24. He was nominated for an Emmy in the Best Supporting Actor for a Drama Series category.
Itzen has also starred in three other shows, Something Wilder (1994) Eerie, Indiana (1991), and Over My Dead Body (1990).
Itzen signed on to return as Former President Logan in the sixth season of 24. Appearing in four episodes thus far this season, how long Itzen will play the recurring character remains to be seen.
Logan lives with his wife, two children, three dogs, and four cats.
