Peter Dinklage is an American actor, and was born on June 11, 1969 in Morristown, New Jersey. Dinklage made his film debut in the 1995 art house flick Living In Oblivion, playing the role of a frustrated actor who was unhappy with the jobs he was being offered. He mostly stuck to indie films after that, until his breakout year in 2003. That year, he appeared in the Will Ferrell comedy Elf, and scored his breakout role in the critically acclaimed drama The Station Agent, for which he was nominated for multiple awards. In 2005, Dinklage appeared as a regular on the short-lived CBS sci-fi series Threshold. The next year, he played a supporting role in the Sidney Lumet film Find Me Guilty, and booked a recurring role on FX's Nip/Tuck. Dinklage can currently be seen starring in his most high profile project to date, as Tyrion Lannister on Game Of Thrones, the mega hit HBO adaptation of George R.R. Martin's classic "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book series.
