Alec is Jaye's extremely annoying immediate supervisor at Wonderfall's Gift Emporium. In the first episode, he is selected over Jaye for the position, a further slap-down to her, considering that she has a college degree. Jaye has little respect for him, and he does little to deserve any. She calls him "Mouth Breather" and several other people pick up on this nickname as well.

Douglas Fargo is known throughout Eureka simply as Fargo, he is an employee of Global Dynamics, where he designed Sheriff Jack Carter's home "SARAH" (Self Actuated Residential Automated Habitat).

The residents of Eureka can't decide whether or not Fargo is less intelligent than the other scientists of Eureka or if he is just not very good at his job, but you can guarantee that is something is amiss in town then Fargo is not far behind.
