David Hyde Pierce, Born 3rd April 1959 was the youngest of 3 siblings. He was always interested in music and would find time to play Piano and the Organ at his local church. It was during high school that David Hyde Pierce realized that he had a feel for acting and after graduating in 1977, he received the Yaddo Medal for best Dramatic Arts student.
He then went on to Yale university in order to study classical piano, but soon after he got a little bored of music history so he went on to study a double major in English and theater arts due to his interest in Drama.
After moving to New York, he picked up roles in several theater productions and also appeared in cameos for films such as Bright Lights Big City. Then he moved on to bigger things, when he was selected to play Frasier's brother in the hit television series Frasier. He currently resides in Los Angeles and is continuing perform in Theater productions such as Sir Spamalot.
