Jennifer Morrison was born on April 12, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois and was raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She first entered the show business at a young age, working a child model for advertisements mainly for department stores. She later started appearing in TV commercials and later appeared on the cover of "Sports Illustrated for Kids" with basketball star, Michael Jordan. As a teenager, Jennifer started auditioning for roles. Finally, in 1994, she appeared in Intersection, along side Richard Gere and Sharon Stone. Later that year, she appeared in Miracle on 34th Street.
Jennifer decided to take a break from acting, and complete her education. She managed to complete a four-year program at Loyola University in just three years in their theater program. Jennifer soon after joined Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Jennifer started auditioning for new roles, and in 1999, appeared opposite Kevin Bacon in Stir of Echoes. The year after, she earned the lead role in Urban Legends: Final Cut. She later had roles in television series, such as Touched by an Angel and a recurring role on Dawson's Creek.
From 2002 until 2006, Jennifer managed to star in over 11 films, including 2003's Grind, 2004's Surviving Christmas, and in 2005, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. But in 2004, Jennifer auditioned for one of the starring roles in FOX's medical drama, House, which was her biggest role to date. As she continues to work on House, Jennifer has managed to produce a independent film in 2006 called Flourish and star in the Rob Schneider comedy, Big Stan in 2007.
