Originally, Helo - Penikett's character on Battlestar Galactica - was fated to die on Caprica after he gave up his seat on Boomer's raptor for Gaius Baltar (James Callis). But Penikett's performance in the role convinced the producers of the show to bring him back for the series proper.
| One frequent ploy used on Battlestar Galactica is to use cut scenes from episodes in the "previouslys", so that audiences can be caught up on storylines or moments that might have been cut for time in previous episodes.
