Peter Shinkoda is a Canadian actor, and was born in Montreal, Quebec. Though his family was against it, Shinkoda had a desire to enter show business from a young age. His very first audition was for the role of Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He obviously didn't get the role, and this led him to put off his acting dreams until he was older. In the mean time, Peter became one of the top classical pianists in Canada. While Shinkoda has been acting steadily since the early 90's on both stage and screen, 2011 seems to have been his breakout year. He landed the regular role of Dai, soldier for the "2nd Mass" group of survivors, on TNT drama Falling Skies, and appeared as Sektor on the well received web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Other credits include Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Andromeda, Paycheck, Miracle, Kingdom Hospital, I Robot, The L Word, The Dead Zone, Supernatural, Stargate SG-1, Sanctuary, War, Battle In Seattle, and Riverworld.
