Jim Clancy is Melinda's husband. Jim is a paramedic and is in the process of restoring their home. Jim is supportive of Melinda and knows all about her gift. Jim is content with Melinda not taking his name since they’ve been married, although Jim’s mother is Faith Clancy and she thinks Melinda should have taken the Clancy name. Jim had a brother who died.
At the begining of season 4 Jim dies in a shooting accident. He eventually takes over another body, rather than crossing over.
This new body is called Sam. Sam has no memory of his old life and no memory of Jim, But he does have the same personality traits as Jim.
Melinda asks him to move into her Garage, and they start dating. |
