Emmanuelle Vaugier is no stranger to the small screen. She is one of those actresses that pops up all over TV’s and is a talented actress who just can’t seem to get enough of the television world. Before she made it to the big leagues, Vaugier was acting in elementary school. Originally, she was an understudy in her first production, but when the lead actor became sick, Vaugier stepped into the lead role. This was just the beginning. In 1995, she made her TV debut in the movie drama ‘A Family Divided,’ and in that same year, she made her first TV series debut in the one-time role of Maria Alcobar in ‘Highlander.’ A short year later, Vaugier scored her first recurring role as Noella D’Angelo in ‘Madison,’ and from that moment on she swept the TV nation. Some of her more memorable roles include Dr. Helen Bryce on ‘Smallville,’ Nicki on ‘One Tree Hill, Madison on ‘Supernatural’ and Detective Jessica Angell on ‘CSI: NY.’ Since these major roles for Vaugier, she has continued her TV streak by starring in ‘Human Target,’ ‘Hawaii Five-0’ and ‘The Mentalist.’ She’s continued her recurring television roles by starring in ‘Covert Affair,’ as Liza Hearn, ‘Lost Girl,’ as The Morrigan’ and ‘Two and a Half Men,’ as Mia aka Charlie Harper’s love interest. For those who don’t know, Vaugier was actually in a romantic relationship with notable writer and producer Chuck Lorre (‘Two and a Half Men,’ ‘The Big Bang Theory’). They are no longer together. When Vaugier isn’t acting, she is staying true to her other love - animals. She is involved with several animal protection organizations like JIMI’S ANGELS and the Best Friends Animal Society. If that’s not enough, Vaugier also created an animal fundraiser event, Fluffball, to raise money for animal activist groups.
