Guy Ferland received his Bachelor of Arts-Cinema Production from the University of Southern California School of Cinema and Television in 1998. Since then he went on to work on various successful films and television shows. He directed After the Storm for Trimark/USA, which won Best Feature Film at the New York International Independent Film and Video as well as Best Feature Film at the Angelciti Film Festival, Los Angeles. After the Storm, starring Benjamin Bratt, Armand Assante and Mili Avital, was produced by Nelle Nugent and written by A.E. Hotchner. Ferland directed Telling Lies in America, for Banner Entertainment, which received the National Board of Review Excellence in Filmmaking 1997. The film featured Kevin Bacon, Brad Renfro, Calista Flockhart and Maximillian Schell, was produced by Ben Myron and Fran Kuzui and written by Joe Ezsterhas. His last feature film, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, was released last year. The director's television credits include Our Guys starring Ally Sheedy, Eric Stoltz and Heather Matarazzo for ABC, Bang, Bang, You're Dead with Tom Cavanagh for Showtime, and the series Ed, Medical Investigation, Hawaii and The Shield.
