voiced Dick Grayson / Robin in Batman: The Animated Series
Dick Grayson's first appearance as Robin was in Detective Comics #38 in 1940 as a lighter counterpart to the brooding, dark Batman. Part of a gifted acrobatic family known as "The Flying Graysons", Dick joined Batman on his crusade to fight crime after his parents were murdered by the mobster Boss Zucco after vigourous training from batman to hone his physical and detective skills. He was later to grow disillusioned with Batman and step out from under his shadow to become Nightwing. He was replaced by the second Robin, Jason Todd. |
