played Captain/Major/Commander Lee 'Apollo' Adama in Battlestar Galactica
The son of Admiral Adama and an excellent soldier/commander in his own right. Lee has had a rocky relationship with his dad made worse by the death of his brother years before the Cylon uprising. Lee also suffers from depression and is believed to have attempted suicide. He also like his late brother has had a personal relationship with Starbuck further complicating his life and duties on Galactica.
At the middle of season two, Lee was promoted to the Commander of the Pegasus, sistership of the Galactica. He stayed in command until he was forced to sacrafic his ship to save the humans trapped on New Caprica during the beginning of season three. Lee ended up rejoining his father's side onboard the Galactica. |

played Archie Kennedy [E01-E06] in Horatio Hornblower
The Archie Kennedy character is largely fabricated for the series. Kennedy was a minor character in the book "Mr Midshipman Hornblower" but does not resurface in other books, instead the film series character of Archie is an amalgum of several characters from the books.
Archie is the first person to greet Horatio upon arrival on HMS Justinian in Episode 01. They transfer to subsequent commands together. He meets a tragic end in episode 06.
