Declan was born in 1975, on the 25th of September. He had six older brother and sisters to look out for him, and was spoil as a child. At the age of 13, Dec joined the cast of Byker Grove, which changed his life forever. A year after joining, he met a boy who would become a friend, that was closer to him that any of his brothers....
Eighteen years later, and the pair are closer than ever. Together they have had huge success as actors on TV Shows, presenters, singers, and actors on the big screen. They have become the UK's most popular comedy act, and have starred on some on TV's greatest ever shows.

Since 1994, Dec has never appeared on tv without his showbiz partner Ant.
| At the age of only 27 he and his showbiz partner Ant McPartlin won the Lifetime Achievement Award
| Dec has had successful shows on all the big TV stations in the UK, the BBC, ITV and CH4. With ITV bringing the most success. He has also worked for Sky TV.
