Jennifer Love Hewitt was born on February 21, 1979, in Waco, Texas, to Herbert Daniel Hewitt and Patricia Mae Shipp. Jennifer grew up in Killeen, Texas. She also has a brother. When she was younger, Jennifer had been interested in acting, and the talent scouts saw her potential. At the age of 10, Jennifer moved to Los Angeles with her mother to pursue a career in both acting and singing.
Jennifer began to pursue her career as a child actor, starring in the 1989-1991 show, Kids Incorporated. She landed the role of Sarah Reeves on the popular FOX television show Party of Five (1995-1999). She continued this role in the short-lived Party of Five spinoff, Time of Your Life (1999) co-starring Jennifer Garner. Jennifer began to get more roles in great films. She is probably most famous for the role of Julie James in the horror films I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998). Jennifer also dated Carson Daly from 1997-1999.
