An American Actor, James Morrison's most successful role to date has been that of CTU Director Bill Buchanan on the hit FOX show, 24.

In his past, Morrison was a professional actor in theatre throughout most of the 1980's.

Morrison has starred elsewhere in television, notably Colonel Tim Devon in Freedom, Joey Mascini in General Hospital, and Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius McQueen in Space: Above & Beyond.

His occuring roles has also had recurring roles in The West Wing, The X-Files, Frasier, JAG, Six Feet Under, and Quantum Leap.

In 2001, he played a role in the film The One.

He currently lives in Los Angeles returning for his third season of 24.
