Operation Wild follows Clare Balding and Steve Leonard as they travel around the world exploring cutting edge veterinary surgery.
Episode Info
Clare is in Japan to talk to Dr Keiichi Ueda who has spent the last 12 years attempting to improve the life of Fuji, a dolphin with no tail. Steve is in the rainforest of Laos where vets are attempting some ground-breaking keyhole brain surgery on Champa, an endangered moon bear. Clare also joins a team in London attempting to look after Priscilla, a Galapagos tortoise, who requires keyhole surgery to work out what’s wrong with her.
