‘Looking’ Season 1 Finale: ‘Norma Rae,’ Good Friends and ‘The Golden Girls’

This Sunday is the Season 1 finale of HBO’s new series ‘Looking.’ After just eight episodes, the freshman season is coming to a close.

But, don’t worry, because the dramedy will be back for a second season, and with Doris (Lauren Weedman), Richie (Raúl Castillo) and Kevin (Russell Tovey) all as series regulars.

Now for that finale episode, entitled “Looking Glass.”

It explores the wedding aftermath aka Richie not going with Patrick and then Kevin kissing Patrick in the bathroom. We also get to see the mess created by Agustín’s actions and confessions (him hiring a hooker for his art project, and then paying said hooker to sleep with his partner, Frank), all while seeing if Dom’s pop up restaurant goes off without a hitch.

That’s a lot for just a half-hour, but it’s so worth it, meaning you should definitely tune in.

If you love some teasers, here are a few tidbits to hold you over until the Season 1 finale airs. However, if you’d rather go in blindly when watching the final episode, hop on a trolley car and get outta here.

-Despite Frank kicking Agustín to the curb, he tries to talk some sense into Frank. Let’s just say, Frank offers Agustín a harsh reality, which is putting it mildly.

-Not only does Patrick have to deal with the tenseness between him and Richie, but he also has to deal with the awkwardness with Kevin at work. Oh, what a love triangle!

-Agustín delivers some top-notch advice and one-liners, which may or may not happen while under the influence, including “You gotta deal with your shit, Norma Rae!”

-For those shipping Patrick and Kevin, there are plenty more scenes where these two are concerned, and even some sexting -- I mean texting, or do I?

-We get to see Dom in restaurant action, while also dealing with his “relationship” with Lynn.

-Speaking of Lynn and Dom, Doris steps up on her BFF’s behalf and it’s super sweet.

-Lastly, ’The Golden Girls.’ That is all.
