-HBO has released its very first ‘Silicon Valley’ trailer. Check out the video below for the show, which tells the story of six nerdy programmers navigating life and success.
-Two familiar faces have joined NBC’s drama pilot ‘Coercion.’ Margarita Levieva (‘Revenge’s Amanda Clarke) and Hope Davis (‘The Newsroom’) will play the sister and mother, respectively, in the project that follows a family that is part of a recently reactivated Russian sleeper cell.
-Clifton Collins Jr. (‘Red Widow’) is coming to ABC’s ‘Secret & Lies,’ where he’ll portray Ben’s (Ryan Phillippe) childhood friend living in Ben’s pool house.
-NBC’s comedy ‘Love Is Relative’ has nabbed Leslie Bibb (‘The Following,’ ‘About a Boy’) in the leading role of Rose, a mother and wife, whose marriage is tested when her recently divorced brother moves into her home.
-Vince Gilligan and David Shore’s new drama ‘Battle Creek’ has just added Janet McTeer (‘The White Queen’) to its lineup. McTeer is set to play Commander Guziewicz of the Battle Creek Police Department, who is described as soft, tough and respectful.
-The David Caspe-Casey Wilson comedy ‘Marry Me’ has added Sarah Wright (‘Parks and Recreation’) and Tymberlee Hill (‘Grey’s Anatomy’). Wright will play Dennah and best friend to Wilson’s Anna, while Hill will play Annie’s eccentric neighbor, Kay.
-ION is bringing ‘The Listener’s 13-episode fifth season officially to its network as an original series. As a new co-producer, ION also earns rights to future seasons.
-In case you missed it, CNN and Piers Morgan will part ways with Morgan’s ‘Piers Morgan Tonight' primetime show, as first reported by The New York Times. It will end soon, and the network is currently searching for a replacement.
-As previously reported, ‘Dancing With the Stars’ fired Brooke Burke-Charvet from her co-hosting duties. It looks like FOX Sports reporter, and former ‘DWTS’ contestant, Erin Andrews will be her replacement.
-Laz Alonso (‘Deception,’ ‘Breakout Kings’) will star alongside Debra Messing (‘Will & Grace’) in NBC’s ‘Mysteries of Laura’ pilot. He’ll play Laura’s (Messing) partner in crime, Billy.
-Eva Amurri Martino (‘Californication’) and Domenick Lombardozzi (‘Boardwalk Empire’) have both joined Henry Winkler’s ABC comedy, ‘The Winklers,’ Deadline reports. The pilot focuses on Jack (Lombardozzi), an emotionally reserved construction worker living with his in-laws, Henry (Winkler) and Tita. Martino will play Henry and Tita’s spoiled/controlling daughter Emily, who is also married to Jack.
