In addition to all of the other news we’ve been reporting, here are a few entertainment and TV headlines you might have missed:
-Mary Louise Parker might be returning to the small screen. The ‘Weeds’ star is circling the recently picked up NBC comedy pilot ‘Feed Me,’ based on ‘The Marriage Bed.’ If she joins, Parker would play the lead, Ellen, a housewife, mother of two and accountant stuck in her ways.
-ABC is giving you the chance to watch the first two episodes of its upcoming comedy ‘Mixology’ early. Head on over to Hulu and get watching, before the premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 9:30/8:30c.
-Gerald McRaney (‘House of Cards’) is the latest addition to TNT’s ‘Agent X,’ starring Sharon Stone. McRaney joins the drama as Chief Steward of the Vice President’s mansion.
-NBC’s ‘Parks and Recreation’ is welcoming Rob Huebel (‘Children’s Hospital’), Entertainment Weekly reports. Huebel will play “an unlikable tent owner of a store Ben (Adam Scott) and Tom (Aziz Ansari) can’t seem to escape when they try to rent one.”
-Meagan Good has found another role after ‘Deception.’ She will co-star as “a local doctor with an edge” in NBC’s drama pilot ‘Babylon Fields,’ revolving around zombies.
-'30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski has been cast as the lead in FOX’s comedy ‘Dead Boss.’ She’ll star as overachiever Helen Stephens, who is wrongfully convicted of murdering her boss.
-Tom Hardy (Bane in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’) will join the BBC crime saga ‘Peaky Blinders.’ He’ll star in the second season as a “charismatic leader who presents a unique opportunity to Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby.”
-FOX Networks Group will launch Seth MacFarlane’s passion project, ‘Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey,’ across 181 countries and 220 channels. This will be the largest global launch ever for a TV series. It premieres Sunday, March 9 at 9/8c.
-Reality star Bethenny Frankel’s talk show, ‘Bethenny,’ was canceled before earning a second season.
-In case you missed it, Kevin Hart’s ABC untitled comedy pilot found its lead in Romany Malco (‘Weeds’). Based on Hart’s life and stand-up career, Malco will play Derek, a personal trainer and devoted dad, who just got divorced. The show asks the question: “Can a man and woman ever truly be friends… after they’re divorced?”
