Fashion...murder...a wedding dress — what do all of these things have in common, you may ask? They're some of the many topics that get covered in the upcoming episode of 'Castle,' appropriately titled, "Dressed to Kill."
As suspected, this 'Devil Wears Prada'-esque plot (which guest stars the talented Frances Fisher) serves up the deadliest accessory of all: murder, and even offers fans a glimpse of a certain detective's wedding dress. But you don't have to wait until Monday night to get a better idea of how it all plays out.
I was able to catch an early screening of the episode and have picked out some killer teasers, which I'm more than happy to share. So if you're looking for a spoiler-free zone, this is definitely not the place to be. As for the rest of you, let's dig in and find out why murder is just so in style this season.
-Fisher plays a domineering Miranda Priestly-type figure, who dishes on a few details concerning Kate Beckett's brief modeling career. (Hint: it involves Nicole Kidman.)
-Castle coins the phrase "Murder is the New Black" — a nonsensical catchphrase or new Netflix series in the making? (I would totally watch it, by the way.)
-While searching for the perfect wedding venue, one person develops a case of cold feet — but not for the reasons you would normally think.
-In typical Castle style, the writer throws around a few wild theories concerning this week's fashion-heavy murder case. Possible killers: Katy Perry and Dr. Seuss. Naturally.
-Beckett finally tries on a wedding dress and whether you're a fan of the design or not, viewers will be hard pressed not to get choked up during this emotional scene. You may want to have a few tissues on hand.
'Castle' airs on Mondays at 10/9c on ABC.
