Steven Seagal will be returning to television with new drama True Justice, which shall be produced by ReelzChannel who earlier this year created their first original piece of programmin with The Kennedys.
True Justice will see Seagal star as Elijah Kane and is due to start in March 2012. The narrative will see Kane lead a hardcore undercover team of Seattle based cops who takes on gangs, drug lords and crime syndicates as he looks to clean up the streets. Seagal beating up bad men has always been a hit with viewers.
It has been reported that Seagal , Nicholas and Chartier and Phillip B. Goldfine are executive producing with Keoni Waxman severing as co-executive producer and director. True Justice will be produced by Sojo Prods and Voltage Pictures, in association with Steamroller Prods and there will be 13-episodes in the series.
Over the last few years Steven Seagal has been shown as a fake cop doing real cop things on A&E's Lawman, which has seen the Under Siege star take down some pretty horrific cretins who have broken the law.
