The night's shows showed that CSI: NY and Blue Bloods are still punching the numbers with the average of 10-11 Miillion. The other shows fared well, but not as well as the CBS line-up. The line-up for Friday night is fairly decent and it is always good to have some Grimm in the mix. The ratings for Friday, February 3, 2012 are:

I will never understand why networks put quality shows in Friday night time slots. Friday night is date night, so many people Tivo or tape their favorite Friday night shows Or, as in the case of the 9:00 time slot, you can only watch one fantasy/sci fi show at the time, so must tape the other two. And we all know that ratings are only considered for shows viewed in their time slots. I would suggest reality shows for all Friday night time slots. I don't watch these shows, and can't imagine what anyone gets from them. But they must have value, as networks replace good shows that were moved to Friday nights with the reality tv dreck. I, personally, find myself watching more documentaries, Canadian channels, and paid cable channels for each good, thinking man's show the networks remove.
