Parks And Recreation Sees Return of Louis C.K

NBC's "Parks and Recreation" is a darling of the Thursday primetime comedy line up. The show began with a weak start, but with the introduction of Adam Scott in second season things quickly heated up. Of course, a lot of it has to do with the writing of Amy Poehler's character Leslie Knope. It took two seasons to find the heart of Pawnee, but now any episode is comparable to "The Office" at its peak.

It has been announced that Louis C.K will be making his return to Pawnee sometime next year. That only means one thing, more heartache for our favorite couple Ben & Leslie. C.K spent sometime on the show as Leslie's boyfriend, now ex, who hasn't been seen since season two.  His character Dave Sanderson will make an arrival at the worst moment.

It was only in last week's episode, "Smallest park", that Ben and Leslie were reunited as a couple. The writers have been challenging how we think about these familiar characters all season long. Will Sanderson's return spell more trouble for our favorite pair?

Tonight's episode of "Parks and Recreation" is titled,"The Trial of Leslie Knope". The description from NBC is vaugue, perhaps to cover up any spoilers. It appears that their supervisor, Chris, learns of their relationship and takes some form of action. Could this end Leslie's campaign for city council?

"Parks and Recreation" airs Thursdays on NBC at 8:30 PM. Their lead in is "Community", another comedy that is loved by critics. Recently a fan created a mashup of the intro credits of these two shows that is gaining some steam. The purpose of the video was to draw attention to these favorites that are the lowest rated comedies currently on NBC. "Parks and Recreation" is averaging 3 million views per episode despite the strong fan base. Fortunately, NBC hasn't given up on this one yet.

Were you excited by Ben and Leslie's reunion in last weeks episode? What do you think  the consequences will be? Share your thoughts in the comments.

PUT on animal practice with this show so it can stay on the air. We love animal practice and so do my friends. It is in a crappy place and nbc should put it with a hit so it doesn't fail.
