Former Rockford Files star Joe Santos passes away aged 84

Former Rockford Files star Joe Santos has passed away aged 84.

He portrayed Lt. Dennis Becker on the popular long-running series starring James Garner.

His son Perry broke the sad news that his father had suffered a heart attack at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday and was put on life support. He later passed away in a Santa Monica hospital.
