Magician Paul Daniels passes away aged 77

Popular British magician Paul Daniels has passed away aged 77, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

He passed away at his Berkshire home with wife Debbie McGee by his side in the early hours of Thursday.

Paul was best known for presenting his own magic show and as the host of some of the country's most popular game shows.

His publicist said: "Debbie and the family would like to thank everyone for their support and asks that their privacy be respected at this sad time."
