Vanessa Hudgens cast on NBC's DC Comics comedy pilot Powerless

Vanessa Hudgens has been cast to star on NBC's DC Comics comedy pilot Powerless.

The comedy will be based in one of the worst insurance companies in the United States with the twist being that it also takes place in the world of DC Comics. The comedy features a normal, powerless person becoming involved in a world of super heroes and villains.

Vanessa Hudgens will play Emily Locke, an insurance claims adjuster who enjoys a normal life and likes to get her work done. She finds herself though exasperated by the antics of the different Super Heroes living in her city.

Vanessa recently appeared on the Fox network production of Grease Live.
