Wes Craven dies aged 76

Wes Craven, best known for the creation of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, has passed away aged 76.

He passed away on Sunday at his Los Angeles home having suffered with brain cancer.

He had recently developed the new Scream series for MTV and had been working on a new graphic horror novel series.
