Scream renewed by MTV

MTV has today announced there will be a second season of its hit series Scream. Over 21 million viewers have tuned in to the debut season on-air and the series has generated another 7.9 million streams across platforms.

MTV Executive Vice President of Series Development and Head of Scripted Programming, Mina Lefevre said, “It has been a wonderful experience working with Bob Weinstein and his team who are such connoisseurs of this genre and we are thrilled by how our viewers have responded to the reinvention of ‘Scream.’ We look forward to another season filled with suspense, horror and more twists and turns.”
