VH1 Airing Encore Presentation of Behind the Music: Aaliyah Tonight!

A encore presentation of the new version of 'Behind The Music: Aaliyah' will air tonight on VH1. The 2012 special features interview with Aaliyah's brother Rashad Houghton, Gladys Knight, Missy Elliott and Wayne Asham as well as others. The extended version of the special which aired originally in 2001, features exclusive clips and never-before-seen footage of the star. Her family members appeared in the original version and approved the changes made to the 2012 edit. Aaliyah died in a plane crash aged just 22 in 2001, she had led a troubled life, which was recently documented in the Lifetime TV-movie 'Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B'.
