Endeavour Returning to itv

Crime drama 'Endeavour' will be returning for a four episode third series next year, itv and Mammoth Screen have announced today. The dramatic prequel series to 'Inspector Morse' is set to return after it's series 2 cliffhanger, left Morse in custody for committing a murder he didn't commit and Friday shot in the chest, with his life left hanging in the balance.
