History’s finally unveiled its cast for ‘Sons of Liberty,’ a six-part miniseries following a defiant and radical group of young men, including, Sam Adams, John Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock and Joseph Warren.
The series will follow these historical and prominent men as they unite in secrecy to spark a revolution and make America a nation.

So, who’s part of the cast? It goes as follows: ‘Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris will play “the brilliant yet mischievous diplomat” Benjamin Franklin, while ‘Once Upon a Time’s Michael Raymond-James will portray Paul Revere and ‘The Blacklist’s Ryan Eggold is taking on the role of Joseph Warren.
Ben Barnes (‘The Chronicles of Narnia), Henry Thomas (‘E.T.’), Rafe Spall (‘Prometheus’) and Marton Csokas (‘Rogue’) will play Sam Adams, John Adams, John Hancock, and Thomas Gage (the British general sent to deal with Boston’s unrest), respectively.
“From the Boston Tea Party to the Declaration of Independence, ‘Sons of Liberty’ will tell the rebellious story of America’s greatest fight for freedom,” History EVP Dirk Hoogstra said about the miniseries.
Production begins this summer.
