Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network is a regional cable channel in New York which debut on March 19, 2002 and is dedicated to New York sports, including the main source of the New York Yankees baseball games and the New Jersey Nets basketball games. Original programming includes Yankees Magazine, the award winning Yankeeography, and Centerstage. Yankeeography is a biographical series concerning past and present Yankee players who have made a significant contribution to the team throughout their career. Centerstage is an interview series in which both athletes, plus movie and music members of fame. A misgiving is that the Yankees own the network. It is independently owned, but the Yankees and Nets do receive right fees from the company.
