This year’s award show was the best yet! We celebrated, we sang, we danced, we laughed, we tweeted. And, with the stars gracing the room, you would’ve thought it was the night sky. We had the time of our lives.
The 11th Annual "McDonald’s 365Black Awards" show, held live in New Orleans, was an occasion worth celebrating. And celebrating big! Some of today’s most-accomplished people in the community were honored at the entertainment-packed show. And, to keep the show upbeat and fresh, the very energetic actor/television correspondent Terrence ‘J’ Jenkins and the amazing actress Tika Sumpter took center stage as this year’s hosts.
To get the audience ready for the show, the lovely and talented television correspondent Janell Snowden covered celebrity action from the golden carpet. Making for one of the most memorable moments, Snowden wore fashion designed exclusively by student designer TraVonne Walker, a Bowie State University undergraduate and winner of the 2014 McCafé® - Harlem’s Fashion Row® University Student Design Competition.
